Overview

The Arizona Angels Venture Group, Inc., in partnership with ASU Technopolis and Invest Southwest, is a group of accredited investors who invest primarily in Arizona-based early-stage and developing-growth companies.

The mission of the Arizona Angels is to be a catalyst and communication channel for investment opportunities for its members while contributing to the economic development of the region. The Network is an information source so that accredited investors may more easily discover investment opportunities and communicate with other investors so as to more efficiently and effectively invest together in promising opportunities.

Program

• Arizona Angels Now Accepting Company Presentation Applications! Companies wishing to present to the Angels start the process by submitting an application for review. Applications are accepted year-round, and can be downloaded at www.azangels.org. Participation in the Network is by referral and is restricted to accredited investors as defined by the SEC. The monthly AZ Angels meetings are designed for accredited investors only. The monthly meetings are held from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. FOR ACCREDITED INVESTORS ONLY. Registration will be verified.
• Office Hours for Arizona Angels: The Arizona Angels, in cooperation with ASU Technopolis and Invest Southwest, is commencing a program of meetings with entrepreneurs to discuss questions relating to obtaining capital for startup and expanding ventures. "Office Hours" will include both formal presentations and Q&A relating to subjects such as Presenting to Potential Investors, Developing Financial projections, Crafting Compelling Business Plans, Negotiating Term Sheets, Understanding Valuations, and Awareness of Investor Expectations and Goals. Office Hours will be held from 12:15 - 2:00 p.m. every other Friday. Entrepreneurs may bring their lunches or purchase from the Sky Cafe on the second floor of SkySong Building 1.
• Angel Investor Bootcamp: Arizona Angels, in cooperation with ASU Technopolis and Invest Southwest, is hosting a workshop on Friday, December 4, 2009, for individuals interested in learning the basics of angel investing. This 90-minute session features a panel of 3 active Angels who will share their experiences and advice. Attend this meeting to see how you can start investing in emerging businesses.
